Process payment in the Online Tournament Planner

When a player still needs to pay, you can create a payment request from the player's profile. The player can then complete the payment using the payment link or QR code.

A payment request can be especially useful when a player registers at the club or event location. Instead of asking the player to go to the website to complete the registration and payment, you can simply create a QR code. It is not possible to pay by cash or card. It needs to be processed by the QR code or the payment link. The player can scan the QR code on-site and complete the payment immediately.

Please note: It is not possible to manually mark a payment as paid, for example when a player has paid in cash.

1. Open the player's profile.
2. Select Entry Fee from the left-hand menu.
3. If there is an outstanding payment, it will be displayed here.
4. Click Create payment request.
5. A payment link and QR code will be generated.

Using the payment link

The payment link can be:

• copied and sent to the player, for example via a message;
• sent to the player by email
• you can also select multiple players at once 

Paying with the QR code

If a player registers at the club or event location, the QR code can be used directly on-site.

The player scans the QR code with their phone and can then complete the payment immediately. This means the player does not need to go to the website separately to arrange the payment.

Important: A payment that has been received in cash, for example, cannot be manually registered as paid in Tournament Software.
