Player rating
Your rating is used to indicate your playing level within a particular sport or competition. Depending on the website and how your account is connected to a federation, you may be able to change your rating yourself, or the change may need to be made by the federation or Tournament Software.
Can't change your rating?
On some websites, you cannot change your rating yourself. If you try to change it anyway, you may receive an Error 500.
This does not necessarily mean there is a problem with your account. In this situation, your rating is managed by the relevant federation.
If you believe your rating is incorrect, please contact the relevant federation. They can check which rating should be linked to your account.
Changing your rating through Tournament Software
In some cases, your rating can only be changed by Tournament Software.
If you would like to request a rating change, you can submit a request through our contact form.
If you have a reference from the federation, it is helpful to include this with your request. This allows us to verify the requested change more quickly.
🇳🇱 Special case: MijnKNLTB and toernooi.nl
Do you have a linked account between MijnKNLTB and toernooi.nl? In this case, your personal information and rating are managed through MijnKNLTB.
Because these accounts use Single Sign-On (SSO), you cannot change your personal information or rating directly through toernooi.nl.
What should you do?
If your account is linked to MijnKNLTB:
Make changes to your information through MijnKNLTB, not through toernooi.nl.
If you try to change your information directly through toernooi.nl, you may receive an Error 500.
This happens because your information is managed through the linked MijnKNLTB account.
