Setting Up an Elimination Qualification and Main Draw in OTP

How to create an elimination qualification stage with an elimination main draw within a tournament event. It guides you through configuring both the qualification and main elimination rounds, reviewing the draw setup, and saving the draw successfully in Online Tournament Planner

Steps

  1. In the left-hand menu, go to Draws
  2. Click Add Draw
  3. Select Elimination qualification stage with elimination main draw
  4. Click Next
  5. Enter the size of the qualification elimination
  6. Enter the name of the qualification elimination
  7. Click Next
  8. Enter the size of the elimination round
  9. Enter the name of the elimination round
  10. Click Next
  11. Review the information displayed for the draw to be created
  12. Click Save

Expected Result

  • The qualification and main elimination draws are created successfully
  • No error message is displayed
  • The new draws are visible in the event draw overview

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to create the draw, check the following:

  • You are logged in
  • A tournament is currently open
  • All tournament data has loaded without errors
  • There are players available in both the tournament and the selected event
