Link qualification draws

Complex tournaments often consist of multiple stages, such as qualification rounds followed by a final elimination draw. Draw links allow winners or qualified players to automatically progress to the next stage without manual entry.

Steps

Create qualification draws

1. Open the main menu.

2. Select Draw → Add Draw.

3. Choose Round Robin as the draw type.

4. Continue to the next step.

5. Define the round robin size.

6. Assign a clear name (for example: Qualification A).

7. Make sure all qualification draws are assigned to the same stage.

Repeat these steps to create additional qualification draws (e.g., Qualification B, Qualification C).

Create the final elimination draw

1. Go to Draw → Add Draw again.

2. Select Elimination as the draw type.

3. Configure the draw settings.

4. Assign this draw to a different stage than the qualification draws.

Create links between draws

After creating all draws, link the qualification winners to the final draw.

1. Open the Draw section.

2. Select the final elimination draw.

3. Double-click the first position in the draw.

4. The Select Entry window opens.

5. Go to the Links tab.

6. Select the appropriate qualification link.

7. Confirm the selection.

Repeat these steps for all positions that should receive qualified players.

Result

Once the links are created:

• Winners of qualification draws advance automatically.

• Players are forwarded to the elimination draw when results are entered.

• Manual placement is no longer required.
