Creating a Knockout Draw with a Play-Off in OTP

How to create a knockout draw with a 3rd/4th place play-off and without a consolation round within a tournament event. It guides you through configuring the draw settings, enabling the play-off, and saving the draw successfully.

Steps

  1. In the left-hand menu, go to Draws
  2. Click the Draws tab
  3. Click Add Draw
  4. Select Elimination
  5. Click Next
  6. Select the main draw phase
  7. Enter the size of the draw
  8. Enter the name of the draw
  9. Select Play-off 3/4
  10. Select No consolation round
  11. Click Next
  12. Review the information displayed for the draw to be created
  13. Click Save

Expected Result

  • The knockout draw with a play-off is created successfully
  • No error message is displayed
  • The new draw is visible in the event draw overview

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to create the draw, check the following:

  • You are logged in
  • A tournament is currently open
  • All tournament data has loaded without errors
  • There are players available in both the tournament and the selected event
