Create a new tournament in OTP
Create a new tournament and understand which information must be completed before the tournament can be published.
A tournament must first be created and properly configured in Tournament Planner. Required information in the Tournament Properties must be completed to ensure correct setup, publishing, and online player registration.
Steps
Create a new tournament

Open Tournament Planner.

Go to the Draws menu.

Select Add draw.

Enter a name for the tournament.

Click Save.
The tournament has now been created.
Complete the Tournament Properties
Before publishing the tournament, make sure all essential information is entered.
Info section
Provide the following details:

Tournament name
-
Organizer’s name

Organizer’s phone number

Organizer’s email address
Address section
Enter:

Venue name
-
Address details
-
Postal code
-
City
-
State
-
Country
Events section
-
Add the events that will be played during the tournament.

Specify an entry fee if applicable.

If no entry fee is entered, players will not be required to pay when registering through Online Entry.

Days section
-
Define the days on which matches will be played.

Players can indicate their availability per day when registering via the Online Entry system.
After completing these steps, the tournament is ready for further configuration and publishing.
