Add a Knockout Draw Without a Playoff and a Consolation Round in OTP

How to create a knockout draw without a playoff and without a consolation round within the tournament schedules section.

Steps

  1. In the left-hand menu, go to Draws
  2. Click the Schedules tab
  3. Click Actions and select Add Draw
  4. Select Elimination schedule
  5. Click Next
  6. Select the main draw phase
  7. Enter the size of the schedule
  8. Enter the name of the schedule
  9. Select None for the playoff option
  10. Select No consolation round
  11. Click Next
  12. Review the information displayed for the schedule to be created
  13. Click Save

Expected Result

  • The knockout draw without a playoff and consolation round is created successfully
  • No error message is displayed
  • The new schedule is visible in the tournament schedules overview

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to create the schedule, check the following:

  • You are logged in
  • A tournament is currently open
  • All tournament data has loaded without errors
  • There are players available in the tournament
